Yahoo NBA Championship Week Adds

Yamil Villegas

Those of us that play Yahoo fantasy basketball all know that it is Yahoo Championship Week! We need any edge we can get against our opponents. Here are 3 guys that might be sitting on your waiver wire that can be the reason why you end up in 1st place!

 Kris Dunn

If you need a guard that can get steals, blocks and score double digit points look no further than Kris Dunn. He has long been on the sleeper radar since the beginning of the NBA season and he is finally trending up. They are giving him playing time now that the Timberwolves have no chance of making a playoff run. His minutes have ranged from 24 – 35 minutes over his last four games. Averaging 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.7 blocks over his last 3 games. Those defensive stats are not exaggerations. He can really play solid defense. If you have any droppable players or need a guy to stream for defensive stats go get Dunn.

Cory Joseph

As long as Kyle Lowry is out Cory Joseph is a solid add in deep fantasy leagues. The reason why I suggest you pick him up is simple. He has 3 games left on the schedule this week, just handed out 13 assists against Orlando and will be getting a ton of run on the floor. He has handed out 5 or more assists in 5 of the last 7 games. If you need a guard to get you assists (which is a stat that is usually scarce in most leagues) don’t hesitate picking up Cory Joseph.

Josh Richardson

As long as Dion Waiters is out of commission Josh Richardson is a solid short term solution. He has been shooting poorly as of late however, he is getting heavy minutes. The Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra believes he is starting to turn a corner. He will contribute in counting stats and help with rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Last game he scored 9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 block over 33 minutes. That appears to be his floor but he has upside for more. Even if he might hurt you in the FG% department, he could be worth the investment depending on what your team needs for this week.
